Cave House

The Cave House was designed as a vacation house in the countryside of Maharashtra, some distance away from the city of Mumbai. The design celebrates the amazing view of the Western Ghats, which form the prime focus of the house.

The layout of the house was linear, derived after analysing the natural contours of the site, location of existing trees and views from various spaces. Emphasis has been laid in incorporating the existing trees in the design.
